GridSnap is a Chrome extension that helps you create photo collages from images on the web. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

GridSnap does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Permissions Explained

GridSnap requires the following permissions:

1. host_permissions: <all_urls>

Why: Allows you to right-click any image on any website and add it to your collage. How it works: When you right-click an image, GridSnap fetches the image URL to display in the side panel. No data is sent to external servers.

2. sidePanel

Why: Opens the collage editor in Chrome’s side panel.

3. contextMenus

Why: Adds the “📌 Add to GridSnap” option when you right-click images.

4. storage

Why: Saves your collected images and collage settings locally in your browser.

5. activeTab

Why: Detects which tab you’re on to enable the right-click menu.

Data Retention

All data is stored locally in your browser. You can clear it anytime by:

  1. Opening Chrome settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → View permissions and data stored across sites
  2. Search for “GridSnap” and click “Clear data”
  3. Or uninstall the extension to remove all data

Third-Party Services

GridSnap does NOT use any third-party services, analytics, or tracking tools.

We may update this policy if new features are added. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
